Katha Pollitt argues that,
“rejecting evolution expresses
more than an inability to think critically; it relies on a fundamentally
paranoid worldview.” She states the fact that many college graduates are
grossly misinformed and misunderstand the theory of evolution. She goes on to
say that many people are more inclined to believe in creationism than to
believe in evolution.
