.) Pathos-"His stance on the film was strong and opinionated but he got it across to his readers what he wanted to say without harsh put downs or slaps across the face to the directors." My emotional standpoint on the blog was not one to rag on those who do write negative reviews because everyone is entitled to their own opinion and im not one to judge that. Mine was simply one of praise to those who do write their own review while expressing themselves and their feelings, and also while being decently respectful and cool about it.
.) Description- Not too long not too short, not rousting or being so biast that its pointless to even write an opinionated paper about a review. I feel that a lot of people have the same view that I do about reviews, that they should be informative, helpful and honest about their feelings and they way they are broadcasted for others to see and share. "to me listening to a reviewer complain and whine why a movie had flaws and could of been better, isn't my idea of a good passing of the time. Or better yet an encourager to see or not too see a movie. A good, honest, strait to the point say on a movie is quite refreshing and that is the one i have read. I have to give him a thumbs up if not too two thumbs up."
.) Analogy- The analogy of a review is a very important part. I chose a somewhat neutral standpoint as far as the movie but as the review part i took the side of how its good to not be too negative. Having a neutral standpoint was my view on this particular one because i was not reviewing the movie, but the review of the film. My style of writing on this was also somewhat causal and informative as well.
.) logos- My logic off of my review was off of reading different opinions and thoughts of people who have seen the movie. A lot of the reviews were extremely negative and not open minded.
.) Tone- Light, easy, simple, and honest. Sharing feeling without strife or pounding ideas and ones own feeling into the readers heads. My tone and vibe was one like this. I wanted the readers to see that reviews don't always, and shouldn't be negative all the time. Unless the movie is truly just a really hands down bad movie, then the reviewer has all rights to be honest.
