Thesis statement (3)

Jacqueline Leo, of the Huffington Post, implies in her article, “How America Is Dumbing Down the Next Generation”, that advanced technology is taking away basic skills from generations to come by making everything too user friendly.  She uses exaggeration, analogy, structure, sarcasm, and tone to help prove her points.

Steven,

"of" the Huffington Post, suggests that Leo is a staff writer/regularly columnist. If she is, try something like "columnist for the Huff Post".

If she never states her argument explicitly, "implies" will work here. If she DOES state it explicitly, "implies" won't work. You explain her argument very clearly.

Want something picky (of course you do!) Put a hyphen betwen user and friendly (multi-word adjectives take hypens). Even pickier? She uses these rhetorical moves to MAKE the points (in as much as she's "proving" them). Not a terribly big deal there, though.

Coming along very nicely!
