La Reina Del Sur (The Queen of The South)

La Reina Del Sur  is a  mini-series  in Spanish, which has been translated in a variety of different languages, and after reading the review on the series i realized it was not the best. He lets us know where it stands in rating and how many viewers have given it high ratings but does not really give a review like an actual critic would.

In the first paragraph it lets us know the breaking record of the show and what kind of publications it belongs to. i understand that the show goes beyond the boundaries of just a Spanish viewing audience and hit high expectations in other countries such as Spain and Africa.

in the following paragraph it gives us a view at the protagonist and the role she plays within her most recent TV show and her second most popular TV series. the protagonist Teresa Mendoza, (Kate Del Castillo) who also stars in the hit movie "under the same moon" plays the role of an innocent woman who comes to the U.S from mexico and gets involved in a drug cartel and later becomes the world's most powerful drug dealer. followed by the co- star "El Guero Davila" performed by Rafael Amaya, who acted in the novel series "The House on The Beach". He is the top notch drug trafficker of the sinaloa cartel and is the one who is responsible for the involvement of Teresa Mendoza in the drug business.

the final paragraphs of the review gives us an overview of what kind of show to expect and the kinds of audience that this show has attracted. he also has the executive of Telemundo (american television network that broadcasts in Spanish), give his point of view on cinematography as well as the actors.

The review was really about the numbers for this writer. He gives us all the information needed to know how well the show is doing, but not necessarily the information needed to decide on whether we would watch it ourselves. He did give a little bit of information about the storyline, but not enough in my opinion.

I think that the synopsis is more completely (about what the novel is about ) that the review although I know that the review is only an advance of the novel I think that need a little more of explanation about what brings to the audiences or why we need to see this novel.
