Paragraph 1: Since this review is on the first season of the show, I feel that the first paragraph did a really good job getting the reader to show a little interest. I feel that a lot of us have a curiosity in that we'd all love to see what the poor souls who are stuck writing sitcoms for children wish they could throw into their shows. (I watch the show and the description really is very accurate haha)
Paragraph 2: In this paragraph the reviewer still tries to pull in interest for the show, bringing up writer's ties to Flight of the Conchords. If the link to another program doesn't bring you in, the mention of it being a "filthy and hilarious more accurate teenage life" might.
Paragraph 3: Of course they list when the show is going to be on so any potential viewers will be able to watch! Also, "A lazier show would have turned Will into a garden-variety geek, but not this one." is a helpful line to sort of tell potential viewers to hang in there initially, that this isn't just another run of the mill teen sitcom about highschool.
Paragraph 4: Sums up a few of the shows characters. The reviewer finds a way to describe them in a funny way instead of just calling them average teenage boys.
Paragraph 5 & 6: Here the reviewer entices (or warns) potential viewers about the raunchiness of the show, as well as some mockery on topics which Americans are generally more sensitive to. Also by stating that it definitely would not be fit for American television without some serious censorship helps to get a bit more of an adult view on the show.
DON'T WATCH THE AMERICAN VERSION OF THIS SHOW!
Also I noticed that reviewing the first season of a show is a lot like doing a film review.

I love UK versions of everything they're just more REAL and better idk haha
I can't see part of this since it's whited out. You can edit any post; just highlight everything and make the background black and make all the text white. If you cut and copy from another site, you'll often wind up with something whited out on here unless you change it.
fixed it! and agreed, uk versions are pretty much always better. british comedy is different and they have like no censorship
