BLOG# 5 - Opinion

"Londo 2012 Olympic Games"

For my 5th blog I chose the article "London's opening ceremony full of surprises only five days out,” from theroad.com written by Andrew H. The article begins with enthusiastic tone that describes the wish that the Olympic Games begin now. Andrew states, "An Olympic opening ceremony tends to come across as four hours of ego stroking for the host nation, a demonstration of national pride." The article gives many examples of comparison and enthusiasm for the games which reflect the security that London has to secure and publicize their good hospitality to other countries.

I agree with the authors of the article, because explains and it is clearly with his idea about that London, the Opening Ceremony on Friday night-promises to be a night of surprises.

He demonstrated in his article the knowledge about how past Olympics games are different in many aspects which unites people that live in different continents therefore, this makes the Olympic games important for the hold society– the culture of each country is different but not the passion for the sports.
